I am running for Congress on November 3, 2026
Before that is possible there will be a lot of work. I will need the help and money of many people.
I am already registered with the Federal Elections Commission. That allows me to campaign, raise money, and spend money.
This fall, between November 3-7, candidates file their campaigns with the Arkansas Secretary of State. In many states there is an onerous requirement
for candidates to collect a large number of nomination signatures from eligible voters within their districts, and this was the practice in Wisconsin where
I used to live and had run four campaigns for two elected offices. In Arkansas candidates of the major parties follow the requirements of their parties.
The Democratic Party of Arkansas requires a $1,750 filing fee from their candidates for Congress, in lieu of nomination signatures. In most states this is free.
So, in addition to everything else that costs money for a campaign, I need to raise this fee. Can you help me with that?
Next spring is the Primary Election. If other Democratic candidates file to run
for this same position then the public selects one of us to advance to the General Election in November.
The General Election is November 3, 2026. Regardless of whether I am still a candidate you need to vote for the candidate you like best.
Please call or write to me if you have questions or concerns.
Voting is about knowing the candidates and helping to elect the candidate that you believe is most like you or who will best represent your interests.
Elections are often decided by just a few votes.
